Official statement regarding website cloning from the Journal of Digital Economy

Published 27 July, 2024

The Journal of Digital Economy (JDE, ISSN 2773-0670) is an emerging platform for both theoretical and empirical contributions to digital economy. It is co-organized by Tsinghua University and KeAi Communications Co. Ltd., publishing services by Elsevier B.V. on behalf of KeAi Communications Co. Ltd. JDE is the official English-language journal of the Institute of Economics, School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University, and the official international journal of the China Information Economics Society.

Since its establishment in 2022, JDE has been disseminating high-quality research through its continuously published open-access issues available globally. All submissions are subjected to a rigorous peer-review process, and only manuscripts in English are considered. Currently, JDE does not charge any publication fees.

It has come to our attention that some fraudulent websites are impersonating the official JDE website and have established unauthorized manuscript submission and review systems. This fraudulent activity is severely damaging to the reputation of JDE, infringes on the rights of authors, undermines the trust of our readers and contributors, and has caused significant negative impact to both the research community and society. We urge all readers and authors to verify the authenticity of any JDE-related website.

To safeguard your interests and security, the JDE editorial office hereby solemnly declares the following:

1 Please verify our official websites and contact details

2 Do not trust information from other sources

All our official information, notifications, and activities will be published on our official website. Please do not trust any information obtained through other channels, especially those involving money or personal information.

JDE is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of academic publishing and promoting a robust academic culture. We have not authorized any agency, individual or website to collect manuscripts or manage related activities on our behalf. We strictly oppose any improper academic practices, including internal recommendations or charging publication fees to guarantee acceptance.
