Sustainable Operations and Computers is an interdisciplinary journal focusing on topics that manage the balances, tradeoffs and synergies associated with the integration of economics, environment and social perspectives into traditional decision-making processes.
The journal is particularly interested in outstanding theoretical and practical developments that study, revise, revisit and enhance traditional strategic, tactical and operational decision problems. It aims to generate a new and extended body of knowledge to address sustainable organizational needs and environment policies. Subjects of interest include, but are not limited to:
Green & responsible operation and sustainable development such as low carbon management and ESG;
Reverse logistics and closed-loop supply chain management;
Organization and supply chain resilience management and evaluation;
Computer-based research such as system simulation and emerging technology applications in sustainable operations.
Sustainable Operations and Computers disseminates knowledge on the theoretical and applied innovation in sustainable operations, including system modeling and optimization, decision analysis and support, and computer-based simulation. Papers using computer-based research methods are especially welcome.
