Introduction

The special issue presents the latest developments in the field of smart materials and devices, together with new strategies for improving the application of intelligence-responsive biomaterials for tumor diagnosis and treatment.

The issue accepts articles covering in vitro and in vivo evaluations, pre-clinical studies, clinical translation and applications of intelligence-responsive biomaterials especially in tumor theranostics. Manuscripts based on multidisciplinary contributions from scientists and clinicians are especially encouraged.
