Professor Yan Zeng is a Professor at the Lingnan College of Sun Yat-sen University. He is a recipient of several prestigious honors, including the Young Talents of the National High-Level Talent Special Support Programs, Highly Cited Chinese Researchers (Elsevier, Applied Economics, 2020-2023), and the Young Pearl River Scholar of Guangdong Colleges and Universities. His main research areas include risk management, financial engineering, digital economy, digital (inclusive) finance, and insurance actuarial science. Professor Zeng has led more than 10 projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China Project and National Social Science Foundation of China Project. He has published 7 monographs and 2 textbooks in the fields of Digital Economy and Digital Finance, along with over 90 academic papers. He has received numerous research awards including the fields of risk management and financial engineering. He has chaired and participated in various academic activities related to risk management, such as the Annual Conference on Financial System Engineering and Risk Management. Professor Zeng currently holds several prestigious positions. He is an editorial board member of the Journal of Systems Science and Information, Quantitative Finance and Economics, and serves as the Executive Director of the Financial Engineering and Risk Management Branch of the Operations Research Society of China. Additionally, he is the Secretary-General and Executive Director of the Quantitative Finance and Insurance Branch of the Chinese Society for Optimization, Overall Planning, and Economic Mathematics.
