Martin Prince Alphonse, Ph.D. Assistant Professor, Department of Dermatology Johns Hopkins University. His research focuses in immunodermatology using mouse models and humans biospecimans includes S. aureus mediated skin infections and pruritus associated with prurigo nodularis, atopic dermatitis, and chemotherapy/immunotherapy-induced pruritus and skin toxicity. I focus on addressing translational, inflammasome mediated and adaptive immune research approaches with projects employing various immunological techniques, RNA sequencing, metabolomic, and proteomic techniques. The long-term goal is to develop biomarkers, and therapeutic targets for the treatment of skin related immunological diseases.
