Volume 4 Issue 2 Structure and ion transport properties of organic ionic compounds revealed by NMR

This review provides a general and broad overview of the principles of commonly used NMR methods including solid-state NMR, pulsed-field gradient NMR and MRI etc., and their application in organic ionic compounds to understand their structures, molecular dynamics and ion transport properties at fundamental level.

Haijin Zhu

Haijin Zhu is an Associate Professor at Guangdong Technion Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) in China. He obtained his PhD in Polymer Science from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010 with Prof. Dujin Wang. He then carried out research across multiple countries including Max-Planck Institute for Polymer, Eindhoven University, Deakin University and CSIRO Australia. He started independent research at GTIIT in 2023, and is currently leading a group with main focus on the development of advanced electrolyte materials for energy storage and conversion technologies.
