Solid-state NMR in the field of drug delivery: State of the art and new perspectives

Alessandro Marchetti

Dr. Marchetti studied chemistry at the University of Pisa, receiving his B.Sc. and his M.Sc. in 2005 and 2007, respectively. In 2012, he obtained his Ph.D. in chemistry from ENS Lyon and SNS Pisa under the co-supervision of Prof. C. A. Veracini, Prof. L. Emsley and Dr. G. Pintacuda. He worked as a laboratory technician in the field of oceanography at JRC Ispra, and as a Post-Doc at ZJU under Prof. X. Kong. He is currently an expert of scientific outreach and metadata for cultural heritage and bibliometry.

Jinglin Yin

Miss Yin received the B.S. degree from the School of Chemical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology in 2017. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Prof. Xueqian Kong’s group in the Department of Chemistry, Zhejiang University.

Yongchao Su

Dr. Su has received his B.S. of Chemistry and B.A. of English from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (1999-2003) and M.S. of Physics in State Key Laboratory of Magnetic Resonance and Atomic and Molecular Physics, the Chinese Academy of Science, with Prof. Feng Deng (2003-2006) in China. He then pursued his Ph.D. of Chemistry at Iowa State University with Prof. Mei Hong (2006-2011), followed by a postdoctoral training at Massachusetts Institute of Technology with Prof. Robert G. Griffin (2011-2014) in the United States. From 2014, Dr. Su is a Principal Scientist in Analytical Research and Development at Merck & Co, Inc., and an adjunct faculty member in College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin and Purdue University in the United States.

Xueqian Kong

Dr. Kong graduated with B.S. from University of Science and Technology of China in 2005 and got his Ph.D. in Iowa State University in 2010. In 2010-2013, He spent 3 years as a postdoctoral fellow in University of California Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, following Prof. Jeffrey Reimer and Prof. Omar Yaghi. In 2013-2014, he worked as a senior engineer in the Materials Lab of HGST Inc. In 2014, Dr. Kong joined the faculty of the Department of Chemistry in Zhejiang University. He is also the adjunct professor in the Department of Rehabilitation, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital that is associated with the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University.
