Recruitment Notice for the First Youth Editorial Committee of the Journal of Holistic Integrative Pharmacy

Integrative pharmacy is guided by a fundamental principle of prioritizing people's well-being. It places an emphasis on the holistic management of nature, the human body, and society. At its core, integrative pharmacy champions the idea of "good medicine and its good use." By breaking down disciplinary boundaries, it strives to create a novel pharmaceutical system that is better aligned with the needs of people. This emerging pharmaceutical discipline represents distinct characteristics of independent innovation within the Chinese context. It underscores that only through the integration of new drug research and development, pharmaceutical engineering, and clinical treatment can we ensure comprehensive and sustainable human health.

The Journal of Holistic Integrative Pharmacy is the first publication dedicated to the study of holistic integrative pharmacy in China. It is designed to disseminate the latest research in the field of holistic integrative pharmacy and related disciplines, fostering international academic exchanges and advancing the development of holistic integrative pharmacy worldwide.

The journal focuses on the synthesis of diverse fields within pharmacy, including the integration of pharmacy with traditional medicine, modern medicine, technology, fundamental pharmaceutical research, and humanities, among others.

1. Application conditions

• Doctoral degree, associate senior or above professional title, under the age of 45 years old.
• Engaged in frontline scientific research work, possessing a certain degree of academic influence and communication skills, leading at least one national-level research project or at least two provincial and ministerial level research projects, or publishing at least 5 papers in Chinese core journals or three papers in English journals (EI, SCI) in the past three years.
• Show an active interest in the journal's progress, with sufficient capacity for tasks such as manuscript review, thematic planning, and related activities. Be willing to offer insights and recommendations for the journal's growth and actively engage in reviewing, submitting, promoting, and other associated tasks.

Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence as reviewers and authors for this journal.

2. Entitlements

• The journal will issue an appointment letter of "Journal of Holistic Integrated Pharmacy Youth Editorial Board" to the selected youth editorial board member, with a term of 4 years.
• The names of Youth Editorial Committee members will be featured on our print journals, websites, WeChat official account, and other platforms.
• Priority will be given to articles for publication where you are the first author or corresponding author, especially those of exceptional manuscript quality. You will also receive recognition and rewards for outstanding manuscripts.

3. Responsibilities

• Implement the solutions by the editorial board and engage actively in editorial board activities.
• Join the pool of reviewers and contribute to the peer review process of manuscripts.
• Take an active role in the writing, promotion, and solicitation efforts for the journal.
• Assist the editorial department in carrying out promotional activities and provide suggestions for the development of the journal.

4. Application and selection process

• Deadline: December 31, 2025.
• Selection Process: Following the registration deadline, the editorial department will thoroughly assess and choose candidates based on established procedures and the applicants' relevant qualifications. The selected candidates will be announced through the journal's print publications, website, WeChat official account, and other platforms. Final selection results will be communicated to the chosen individuals through phone calls, email, and other means of contact.
