Journal of Future Foods is now indexed in ESCI, Biological Abstracts and BIOSIS Previews

We are delighted that the Journal of Future Foods has been selected for inclusion in the Web of Science™. 

Articles published after 2021, beginning with Volume 1 Issue 1, will be included in the following products:

· Emerging Sources Citation Index

· Biological Abstracts

· BIOSIS Previews

As a new index in the Web of Science™ Core Collection, ESCI expands the citation universe and reflects the growing global body of science and scholarly activity.

BIOSIS Previews (BP) is an expansive index to life sciences and biomedical research from journals, meetings, books, and patents. The database covers pre-clinical and experimental research, methods and instrumentation, animal studies, and more. Includes BIOSIS indexing and enhanced MeSH disease terms.

Biological Abstracts (BA) is a collection of bibliographic references for life science and biomedical research literature, covering peer-reviewed article abstracts from U.S. and international journals.

Both of the two databases are part of the Clarivate Analytics Web of Science suite and have the same level as the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). Acceptable journal for BIOSIS Previews and Biological Abstracts is determined by an evaluation and selection process based on the following criteria: Subject, Editorial Content and Publication Attributes, and Geographic Origin and Scope.
