Dr. Bailin Jiang is an Associate Professor at Peking University and a Consultant Anesthesiologist at Peking University People's Hospital. He also supervises graduate students as a Master’s Supervisor at Peking University. His clinical and academic roles extend to serving as a Lifetime Visiting Specialist at the Tibet Autonomous Region People's Hospital and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Jiang is involved in several professional organizations, including his role as Co-Secretary of the International Airway Management Society (IAMS). He also holds positions within the Chinese Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiology, where he is a Standing Committee Member of the Healthcare Insurance Branch and a Member of the Non-Cardiac Surgery Branch. Additionally, he serves as the Deputy Leader of the Pediatric Anesthesia Group within the Anesthesiology Branch of the Beijing Medical Association.
He completed both his Bachelor’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Medicine at Peking University Health Science Center through an 8-year program leading to MD qualifications. Dr. Jiang continues to engage in research and clinical practice, contributing to the field of anesthesiology in ways that reflect his commitment to patient care and academic inquiry. His research focuses primarily on perioperative management, postoperative pain management, and airway management.
Dr. Jiang contributes to the field through his work on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Anesthesia and Translational Medicine.
