Editorial board meeting of IJTST 2025

The annual meeting of International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology (IJTST) was held in the Marquis Salon 14 (M2) / Marriott Marquis Room in Washington D.C. during the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 104th Annual Meeting on January 7, 2025.
An option was provided for participants to join the meeting virtually via Zoom. The meeting was attended by the editors-in-chief, associate editors, members of the editorial board and other staff members. Professor Chi Xie, from the College of Transportation at Tongji University, an executive editor-in-chief of IJTST and member of overseas high-level talent recruitment programs, presided over the meeting. Prof Xie expressed gratitude to everyone for their efforts and contributions to IJTST over the past year and shared his vision and expectations for the journal's future development.
Professor Wanjing Ma, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Transportation at Tongji University, delivered a speech in which he praised the journal’s contributions to the field of transportation science and technology. He also discussed the future direction of development in collaboration with the editorial board members of IJTST.
Editor-in-chief of IJTST Professor Wei (David) Fan, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, provided a report to the editorial board on the journal status, the work conducted in 2024 and the development plan for 2025. He also detailed the progress of IJTST's international influence, analyzing the number of papers published and distributed, submissions received, downloads, citations and the acceptance rate of articles.
The conference included an awards ceremony, where the Best Editor Awards, Outstanding Reviewer Awards, and Most Cited Paper Awards were presented. Prof Fan and Prof Ma jointly presented the award certificates to the winners.
