Special Issue on the Hualong One Nuclear Reactor Technology

Hualong No.1 is a megawatt, pressurised water reactor, nuclear power technology developed by China. It is based on more than 30 years of nuclear power research, design, manufacturing, construction and operation experience. It also takes into account learnings from the Fukushima nuclear accident experience and the latest safety requirements in China and the rest of the world. As the main brand of China's nuclear power "going global", its safety index and technical performance have reached the advanced, international level of generation III, and it has complete independent intellectual property rights. The purpose of this special issue is to let scientific and technological workers in the nuclear industry around the world know about China's Hualong No.1, and to publicise and exchange its technology.

- Safety analysis, risk assessment (PSA)
- Fuel behaviour and design

- Accident mitigation measures
