Special Issue on Horticultural Plant Quality Research
Published 02 April, 2020
Horticultural plants include fruit trees, vegetables, ornamental plants, tea, etc. Their product organs are various and characteristics include not only appearance, e.g., size, shape and colour, but also internal qualities such as aroma, flavour, texture, etc. The latter determine their commodity value.
Recently, more and more omics and molecular biology techniques are being used to study the quality of product organs. To highlight the latest advances in the field, this special issue of Horticultural Plant Journal (HPJ) will publish reviews, research papers, methods and research highlights on related topics.
