Brain-Computer Interfaces in Rehabilitation Medicine
Published 01 November, 2024
Introduction:
Brain-computer interface (BCI) technology is a multidisciplinary subject involving cognitive neuroscience, biomedical engineering, material science, computer information technology. Brain-computer interface is an interactive system that monitors central nervous system (CNS) activity and translates it into a range of functions, including replacement, reconstruction, enhancement, supplementation, and improvement of CNS function. BCI technology has attracted widespread attention from researchers and holds great potential for applications in fields such as medicine, scientific research, and aerospace. This Special Issue will explore the advances, challenges, and future prospects of brain-computer interface technology in the field of rehabilitation medicine.
