Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and Rehabilitation

Introduction:

Artificial Intelligence (AI), a multidisciplinary field drawing from computer science, control theory, information theory, systems science, and philosophy, has become a cornerstone in the evolution of modern technology. Artificial intelligence can be used to improve the speed and accuracy of diagnosis and screening for diseases; to assist with clinical care; strengthen health research and drug development, and support diverse public health interventions, such as disease surveillance, outbreak response, and health systems management. Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds great promise for improving the delivery of healthcare and rehabilitation worldwide. This Special Issue will explore the advances, challenges, and future prospects of Artificial Intelligence in the filed of healthcare and rehabilitation medicine.

Original Research papers, Review articles and Short communications are welcome for submission. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Wearable Technologies
  • Rehabilitation robots
  • Human-Robot Interaction

Healthcare and Rehabilitation is a peer reviewed, open access journal. For all the articles submitted before the deadline, the Article Publishing Charge (APC) fee will be covered upon acceptance.
