Special Issue on New Advances in the area of Clinical Pharmacy Practice

Introduction:

The special issue entitled “New Advances in the area of Clinical Pharmacy Practice” will cover the topics related to recent advancements in Clinical Pharmacy Practice. The aim of this special issue is to build a community of authors and readers to discuss the latest research and develop new ideas and research directions concerning Pharmacy Practice. The world of healthcare is constantly evolving, and one area that has seen significant advancements in recent years is clinical pharmacy practice. In the past, pharmacists were mainly responsible for dispensing medications and ensuring that patients understood how to use them safely. However, the role of clinical pharmacists has expanded significantly in recent years, and they now play a critical role in optimizing medication regimens, providing personalized patient counselling, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. The special issue is focused on providing information to decision-makers for efficient use of available resources for maximizing health benefits. This special issue will offer an exciting platform to researchers for discussing controversy and framing policy debate, and especially honing policies to solve new problems and explore issues still unresolved related to clinical pharmacy practice.

For this purpose, we are editing a special issue entitled “New Advances in the area of Clinical Pharmacy Practice” for the international peer-reviewed journal Global Health Journal. The journal is co-published by Elsevier (World’s largest information analytics group) and China Science Publishing and Media (China's largest STM publisher and the publishing arm of the Chinese Academy of Science), and sponsored by People’s Medical Publishing House, Co., Ltd (China's largest and leading medical publisher). All the contents published with GHJ will immediate available for free downloading and reading on Science Direct.

This special issue welcomes review or original articles related to Clinical Pharmacy Practice. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Clinical Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy, Drug related problems
  • Hospital Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacovigilence, Drug Utilization studies, Meta-analysis
  • Case study and case reports

Submission deadline: 30 May 2025

Once complete, the special issue will be assembled and published on a dedicated webpage.
