Dr. Raphael Trouvé received his PhD in Forest Sciences from AgroParisTech, France, in 2015. He is now a research fellow in forest dynamics and statistical modelling at the University of Melbourne where he studies forest demography - how trees regenerate, grow, and die - and how these processes respond to environmental conditions, disturbances, and forest management. He aims to leverage interactions among these key factors to improve forest resilience to climate change.
Areas of expertise: Forest ecology; Statistical modeling; Ecological modeling; Dendroecology; Dendrochronology; Forest management
