Special issue: Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Emerging Contaminants

We are delighted to announce the upcoming launch of a virtual special issue to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Emerging Contaminants. This special issue will primarily feature articles contributed by or invited from our Editorial Board Members, as well as highlight the latest discoveries from some of the most dedicated authors who have published in the journal over the past decade. We extend our sincere gratitude for their continued support and look forward to showcasing their groundbreaking scientific contributions.

While the special issue will mainly consist of invited articles, we also welcome outstanding submissions from other researchers whose work aligns with the journal’s scope.

If you are interested in submitting, please note:

• Both research articles and reviews on topics within the journal’s scope are welcome.
• Submissions should be made via the online submission systems by 31^st December 2025, selecting “Celebrating 10 Years” during submission. All manuscripts will undergo rigorous peer review, handled by our EiC or Associate Editor.
• Accepted articles will be published online promptly and will be included in the special issue, which will be prominently featured on the journal’ ScienceDirect page.
• The article processing charge (APC) for invited articles will be waived.
