This journal is a peer reviewed, fully open access journal owned by Institute of Geophysics, China Earthquake Administration. Institute of Geophysics, China Earthquake Administration. retains copyright of the overall compiled journal and the compiled issues. All articles will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. To provide open access, this journal has an open access fee (also known as an Article Processing Charge, APC) which needs to be paid by the authors or on their behalf e.g. by their research funder or institution. The APC for this journal is USD 1000, excluding taxes.

Author Rights
For open access publishing, this journal uses a licensing agreement. For the single article published between the years 2015 and 2017, authors retain copyright for the single article; for the single article published between the years 2018 and 2021, authors have transferred their copyright to the Seismological Society of China and Institute of Geophysics, China Earthquake Administration; for articles published since year 2022 authors will retain copyright for the single article. KeAi Communications Co., Ltd. will be granted nonexclusive publishing and distribution rights.
