The Launching Ceremony of Biogeotechnics Was Successfully Held

On February 18, 2023 Biogeotechnics was launch at the opening ceremony of the 7th Architectural Science and Engineering Innovation Forum. More than 400 experts and scholars, including over 20 members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), attended the event. The launch ceremony was presided over by Professor Yingmin Li, assistant principal of Chongqing University.
After showing an introductory video of Biogeotechnics, Xuhong Zhou, Academician at CAE, and Gao Zhanjun, Director of Third Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as CAE members Yingren Zheng, Fuming Wang, Xiangsheng Chen and Xiuli Du, jointly unveiled the journal cover.
Biogeotechnics is now officially launched!
Professor Hanlong Liu, the executive vice president of Chongqing University and Editor-in-Chief of Biogeotechnics, addressed the inaugural speech. He introduced the journal’s background, academic scopes, orientation and development goals and editorial board, expressed the confidence and determination to build Biogeotechnics to be an international first-class academic journal, and invited scholars to support the development of Biogeotechnics, making it to be international academic exchange platform for innovative, forward-looking and leading achievements.
