20th Anniversary of the research collaboration between Chinese Society for Biomaterials and Korean Society for Biomaterials
Published 20 June, 2024
Since 2004, the Chinese and Korean Societies for Biomaterials have established a collaboration to promote cutting-edge research and translation in the field of biomaterials. Through 20 years of persistent efforts, the collaboration has made remarkable progress in new generation of bioactive materials, materiobiology, and cell/gene active biomaterials.
These breakthroughs have expanded the horizon of biomaterial sciences and related fields, including tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, artificial organs, and so on. Additionally, the translations of these bioactive materials and medical device systems have benefited patients not only in the two partnering countries, but also those across the world.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the collaboriaton and initiate the next fruitful 20 years for bilateral cooperation, Bioactive Materials invites scientists from China and South Korea to submit their most recent papers for publication in the Special Issue on "20th Anniversary of the research collaboration between Chinese Society for Biomaterials and Korean Society for Biomaterials”.
This special issue will feature the latest research originating from China and South Korea in the field, covering important aspects such as original research, clinical translation, and regulatory science of biomaterials medical devices.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed before publication. We hope to unlock new frontiers of China-Korea biomaterials cooperative research and pave the way for translation of biomaterial therapies that will redefine clinical practice standards.
