The Best Paper Award is a prestigious award given to researchers who have published high-metric articles in Bioactive Materials. The award is fully merit-based and the criteria for award selections are that the paper must be viewed as a significant contribution to the field of bioactive materials.

The best paper award committee reviews the nominations and selects the best papers by the potential impact on society, the importance of the findings, the conceptual contribution, the technical challenges overcome, etc.
