Achievements: Hui Xie, PhD, Second-level researcher/Professor,National Jieqing, National Excellent Youth, National introduction of high-level young talents from overseas, National youth post experts, leading talents in science and technology innovation of Hunan Province, Vice President of Hunan Youth Science and Technology Association and Chairman of Biomedical Special Committee, Chairman of Translational Medicine Special Committee of Hunan Medical Education Science and Technology Society, Central Youth Committee of China Democratic League, Chairman of Hunan Youth Committee of China Democratic League, Chairman of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University.Currently, he is the director of the Hunan Key Laboratory of EMI Medicine and the director of the Movement System Research Center of Xiangya Hospital. He has set up a cutting-edge and interdisciplinary medical research team of more than 100 people to carry out research on metabolic bone diseases, aging and regeneration, EMI medicine, gene editing and organ transplantation.So far, he has published more than 130 SCI papers, which have been cited more than 8,000 times.As the corresponding or first author, he has published 68 original papers in Nat Med, Adv Funct Mater, Nat Commun, Sci Adv, etc. (including 31 papers with IF>10).H-index 47.He won the first Prize of Orthopaedic Basic Research of Chinese Medical Association, the First prize of Shulan Medical Youth Award, the first prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, the first prize of Hunan Natural Science Award, and the Young Scientist Award of American Society of Osteology.Applied for more than 30 invention patents.
