Research Direction: molecular mechanisms regulating bone development and homeostasis; Study the molecular basis of bone diseases such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and spinal degeneration; mechanism of bone mechanical stress signal transduction;
pathogenesis of metabolic diseases.
Achievements: Professor of Southern University of Science and Technology, Deputy Dean of School of Medicine, foreign academician of Ukrainian Academy of Engineering, current president of International Chinese Osteology Association, Director of Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Cell Microenvironment and Disease Research, member of American Society of Bone Mineral Research (ASBMR), has been listed in Elsevier China's Highly cited scholars (Biology) and the world's top 2% top scientists list.
