Introduction: Prof. Schumann's research focuses on human interventional studies to improve performance and health of a variety of populations, including healthy adults and seniors, recreational and elite athletes as well as patients diagnosed with chronic diseases. In this context, his interest includes the interactions of concurrent aerobic and strength training as well as the integration of technologies, such as consumer-grade wearables.
