Introduction: Dr. Fu has been working in the field of exercise Physiology and cellular signaling in skeletal muscle, including AMPK and Sestrins in the elucidation of numerous contraction-stimulated signaling networks. He is continually translating his research from cells to animal models to humans. His research papers are highly cited and he has been continuously funded by the NSFC and other organizations throughout his career. Dr. Fu has served on numerous national committees and panels for grant and editorial review, and trained over 50 graduate students, many of whom currently hold key professorial academic positions in China and abroad.
