Introduction: Professor Adelino is a member of the Brazilian Society of Physiology (SBFis) and the International Society of Exercise and Immunology. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP) - School of Physical Education and Sport of Ribeirão Preto (EEFERP). He has extensive experience in assessing molecular responses to acute and chronic physical exercise in various rodent tissues, as well as in human skeletal muscle, in conditions, whether related to chronic degenerative diseases or not.
