Special Issue Call for Papers: Cell-free Synthetic Biology
We invite you to submit your paper for consideration to the Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology special issue before June 30th, 2019.
Cell-free synthetic biology has been emerging as a powerful enabling technology for innovating scientific research and industry. Cell-free system activates biological machineries without the use of living cells. In short, a decreased dependence on cells leads to an increase in engineering flexibility. As a result, cell-free biosynthetic system has many advantages over the traditional cell system. The ability of cell-free synthetic biology to exploit a cell’s contents and capabilities unimpeded by cells opens new opportunities for biochemical, biofuel, biopharmaceutical, and biomedical applications.
