Special Issue on Smart Sensors for Intelligent Healthcare: Towards Electronic Health to Intelligent Health (E-health to I-health)

Patients are increasingly able to be treated at home due to improved online health care services. Although we strive to offer personalised patient therapy, it is not possible with the biomedical technologies currently available. A crucial aspect of treatment at home and personalised therapy is the monitoring, recording and reacting to changes in patient conditions in real time.
In the last decade, tremendous advancements have been made in nano-assisted miniaturised and wearable sensors. However, further research to improve the sensitivity, performance, quality, accuracy and rate of response of sensors is required.
This special issue will present high-quality, original research articles, review articles and short communications.
