KeAi Launches New Journal – Non-coding RNA Research

KeAi is pleased to announce that Non-coding RNA Research, a new open access journal, is now fully live on ScienceDirect. Non-coding RNA Research aims to publish high quality research and review articles on the mechanistic role of non-coding RNAs in all human diseases.
Aamir Ahmad from Mitchell Cancer Institute was appointed as Editor-in-Chief of this new journal. Dr. Ahmad has a long standing interest in understanding the role of non-coding RNAs in the initiation and progression of human cancers, particularly in the context of drug resistance and metastasis. He has edited several books, managed a number of journal special issues, and brings to Non-coding RNA Research his rich editorial experience.
“This new journal Non-coding RNA Research has been launched to present a unique platform for researchers focused on the role of several distinct non-coding RNAs in various human diseases. Recent advancements have made it clear that non-coding RNAs can play a critical role in diagnosis, prognosis as well as therapy for many diseases. It is therefore very timely that a dedicated journal like this is made available for researchers to publish their breakthrough research and state of the knowledge review articles. It is our hope that this journal will ultimately develop into a reliable resource for quality information on all topics related to non-coding RNAs in human health” says Aamir.
Dr. Bernhard Biersack from University of Bayreuth, Germany, is one of the first authors for Non-coding RNA Research. He described his experience with this journal very positively, “The peer review process was accomplished in 3-4 weeks... The comments of the referees were critical, fair, and extremely helpful for the revision process in order to submit an excellent revised manuscript to the journal.” He also highly recommends this journal to colleagues “Non-coding RNAs are currently under profound investigation for various scientific purposes… I’m convinced that this journal will soon achieve a significant impact within the science community.”
Non-coding RNA Research welcomes research dealing with all aspects of non-coding RNAs—their biogenesis, regulation and role in disease progression. The focus of this journal will be to publish translational studies as well as well-designed basic studies with translational and clinical implications.
