Special Issue: Long non-coding RNA in Cancer

We invite you to submit your paper for consideration to the Long non-coding RNAs in cancer special issue by 30 November, 2017.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), once considered as “junk RNAs”, have emerged as key epigenetic regulators in various cellular processes such as development, metabolism, immune response and etc. In addition, deregulated expression of lncRNAs have been associated with disease states including cancer. Recent technological advances enabled us to identify numerous new lncRNAs and uncover their functions in cancer initiation and progression.

This special issue will include reviews, original research articles, perspective in lncRNA research in cancer.

The main topics of this issue are 

• lncRNA biogenesis and processing
• Gene regulation by lncRNAs
• lncRNAs as biomarkers in cancer
• Functional roles of lncRNAs in cancer initiation and progression
