Published 03 July, 2020
Hualong No.1 is an advanced megawatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology developed by China on the basis of more than 30 years of nuclear power research, design, manufacturing, construction and operation experience, according to the feedback of Fukushima nuclear accident experience and the latest safety requirements in China and the world.
As the main brand of China's nuclear power "going global", its safety index and technical performance have reached the advanced level of international three generations of nuclear power technology, and it has completed independent intellectual property rights.
The purpose of the special issue of Hualong No.1 is to let scientific and technological workers in the nuclear industry around the world know about China's Hualong No.1, and to publicize and exchange the technology of Hualong No.1.
This special issue will address the latest findings and novel approaches relevant to the important crosscutting issues of Hualong No.1 advanced nuclear reactor technology.
It is our greatest pleasures to invite you participate and share the scientific and technical research in the special issue of JANDT.
The Hualong No.1 special issue contains, but not limited to the following topics:
- Thermal-Hydraulics and Core Physics
- Safety Analysis, Risk Assessment (PSA)
- Fuel Behavior and Design
- Experiments
- Accident Mitigation Measures
