New Associate Editors of Infectious Disease Modelling

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Yijun Lou and Dr. Daihai He have been appointed as the new Associate Editors of Infectious Disease Modelling.
Dr. Daihai He
Associate Professor
Department of Applied Mathematics, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China.
Dr. Daihai He received a Ph.D. in Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1999 and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from McMaster University in Canada in 2006. He has postdoc experience at Beijing Normal University, Tel Aviv University and University of Michigan. His research interests are infectious disease modeling and statistical analysis of data.
Dr. Yijun Lou

Dr. Yijun Lou obtained his PhD degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2010. After two-year postdoctoral employment at York University, he joined the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an Assistant Professor in August 2012. Dr. Lou was promoted to an Associate Professor at July 2018. His main research area is in applied dynamical systems and their applications to ecological systems and disease transmission. Dr. Lou has been awarded a MITACS Postdoctoral Fellowship Funding. His recent research is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and University Grants Committee of Hong Kong (UGC).
