Hunan University of Chinese Medicine is in Changsha, a historically and culturally renowned city in China. The university is a major undergraduate college in Hunan Province and was among the country's first batch of tertiary institutions offering key disciplines at the ministerial level. It was also the first school of Chinese medicine in the country to recruit doctoral students, exchange students, and students from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
