The goal of CJPRS is to publish the most current and innovative research in all areas relevant to plastic and reconstructive surgery. CJPRS is committed to providing a forum for scholars and experts to communicate freely, to cooperate actively, and to promote advancements in the plastic and reconstructive community.

We welcome significant papers on any aspect of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including:

China Medical Cosmetolog Press

China Medical Cosmetolog Press is founded in 2010. It is administered by National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by Chinese Association of Plastics and Aesthetics. Since its establishment, the press has continued to pay attention to the academic progress, information trends and industry information in domestic and international medical cosmetology and plastic reconstruction fields. There are two academic journals under the press - China Medical Cosmetology (Chinese) and Chinese Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (English).

Chinese Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (CN10-1634/R6 ISSN2096-6911) is the first English academic journal in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery in China. The purpose of the journal is to publish new achievements, new methods and new technologies of plastic and reconstructive surgery, promote academic exchanges and technology promotion, and improve China's clinical technical level and international influence in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital

The Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital (SNPH), affiliated with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, was established in 1920. One of the first grade A general hospitals in China, the SNPH is widely recognized for its distinctive specialties and innovative competitiveness in clinical medicine.

Occupying a total land area of 82,667 m2 and built-up area of 242,000 m2 in three campuses - the South Campus in Huangpu, the North Campus in Baoshan and the East Campus in Pudong - the SNPH has 2,150 beds, 1,000 dental chairs, 52 clinical departments, 10 medical laboratories and more than 5,000 employees, including 132 MD or PhD supervisors and 180 MSc supervisors, who are responsible for 3 postdoctoral training centers, 26 doctoral programs and 31 master programs. In 2019, there were 4.58 million emergency outpatient visits, 170,000 outpatient and 100,000 inpatient surgical operations, and 130,000 hospitalizations with an average length of stay of 5.8 days at the SNPH.
